Founded by Pastor James MacDonald, Harvest Bible Fellowship qualifies, trains and equips select men to serve as Harvest Senior Pastors; determines their planting locations; oversees the development and launch of new Harvest Bible Chapels and the transitioning of existing churches into Harvests; and supports every Harvest and Senior Pastor through ongoing equipping throughout the life of their churches.

Harvest Bible Fellowship believes local churches exist to glorify God by fulfilling the Great Commission, and is an independent, non-profit organization.

The Lord is blessing the Harvest Bible Fellowship movement with tremendous favor—as of March 2011, there are 70 Harvest Bible Chapel locations in North America and overseas, with 64 being independent church plants.
